Writing loans for Residential and Commercial with Full Financials Loans and Lo Doc Loans with access to about 45 lenders including Private lenders is what I’m known for.

I joined National Australia Bank at age 18 (many years ago now) and worked with them for about 12 years, then moved to National Mutual Royal Bank where I was appointed Manager of the Geelong office within 12 months.

I looked for other opportunities within the organisation but eventually resigned and accepted a job as Manager IOOF, Werribee. After about two years I was appointed Business Development Manager for North Western Branches where I networked with Accountants in Melbourne and North Western Suburbs.

I started out on my new mortgage broking journey in 1997 at the age of 40 and within 5 years had built my business to a substantial size, with a large home and 2 new cars. My lifestyle was good but health wasn’t and I had a heart bypass at age 45. That was 19 years ago….I took a break and looked at my health and fitness, changed my lifestyle and work habits and re-entered the workforce.

In 2020 I joined up with Loans Actually, spending time learning a new sales and lodgement platform as my 1st time under a full Aggregation Group.

Why did I get into the business? Until age 29 I had no real goal and then I decided to go into lending. I enjoy it and am currently loving every minute of helping people with their dreams.

Every hard or complex loan deal is a challenge and the smiles on my customers faces once they get their approval makes it all worth the effort.

I have 7 kids (most now adults) and 2 Grandsons, with a Granddaughter on the way soon. I coach my youngest son in Basketball which I have done with 5 others.

I enjoy visiting family interstate and am looking forward to things opening up very soon.
